SSMI Lubov Foundation

Lubov SSMI Foundation supporting the ministries of the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate.

We help:                Educate the young

Provide spiritual comfort to those in need

                                   Nurture the lonely

                                   Care for the sick

The Lubov Foundation has been established on the deep roots of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate beginning with Blessed Josaphata Hordashevska, Co-foundress of the Sisters Servants and the many sisters that have followed in her footsteps. Those deep roots of living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ through sharing of their lives with each other as a community, in prayer, love and service have been planted in the establishment of the Foundation.

It is in this spirit of “to serve is to love” that the name Lubov, which means to love in Ukrainian, was chosen. The image of the heart which is a part of the logo is a reflection of how Blessed Josaphata embraced all that came her way…she responded with her whole heart, a phrase that is used often in the writings of Blessed Josaphata. The heart also is a reminder to us to reach out beyond our comfort zones to respond with a loving heart to the needs around us.
