Dauphin Holy Resurrection Parish celebrates Year of Mercy.

November 6, 2016

On a cool and rainy Sunday afternoon of October 16, 2016, about fifty-five Parishioners from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of the Resurrection gathered at the entrance of St.Viator’s Roman Catholic Church in Dauphin, to fulfill a pilgrimage through the Holy Doors designated at the church for this purpose. They were joined by a few members of St. Viator’s Parish. The people processed together into the Church Proper and celebrated a Moleben service to the Merciful Christ and then recited together The Apostles Creed. Everyone then went back out to the church foyer and made their pilgrimage through the Holy Doors where the Very Reverend Father Oleg gave the anointing to all as the people sang a hymn. After a prayer, everyone gathered for a group photo at the front of the church, satisfied that they had participated in a significant and heart felt thought-provoking service to celebrate our Merciful Christ.
