OUR CONDOLENCES AND SUPPORT TO THE DAUPHIN COMMUNITY AT THIS TIME OF TRAGEDY

The Archeparchy of Winnipeg extends its heartfelt condolences to the families, fellow parishioners and fellow members of the Dauphin community at the loss of the many victims of the highway disaster that occurred on Thursday in our province.

Father Oleg Bodnarsky, the Dean of Dauphin and district shared about the grief and mourning that the city is experiencing, and he also spoke of the overwhelming outpouring of good will and support that has welled up. God is good and His People are good - especially when needs like this arise.

Although we are all shocked at the suddenness and the scale of this catastrophe, most of us cannot imagine the difficulty and grief of the spouses, children and grandchildren and friends at this time. We do, however, pledge our prayer and moral support and our help in whatever way possible.

Lord God, bless and welcome your beloved elderly children into Your loving presence and heal and guide those whom they leave to continue this earthly journey.

"In blessed sleep grant eternal rest, O Lord, to Your ever-to-be-remembered servants, and make their memory everlasting....

Вічная пам'ять!

John 11:32-35
