WHISPERS FOR A JOURNEY OF FAITH

ARCHBISHOP-EMERITUS STEFAN SOROKA SHARES INSIGHTS AND INSPIRATION IN NEW PUBLICATION

Archbishop Emeritus Stefan Soroka has now completed sending a copy of his recent publication, "Whispers for a Journey of Faith" to all of our hierarchy, clergy and Religious Sisters of our Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada and USA. There are now a few hundred copies available should you be interested in acquiring and sharing additional copies. Arrangements can be made by emailing (stefansoroka1@aol.com) or calling Archbishop Stefan (204-406-8976). Copies are also available at our Chancery (233 Scotia Street). A suggested donation of $ 5 each will be dedicated toward shipping and mailing costs for the next publication.

His Grace, Archbishop Stefan brings a rich life of experience to the stories and insights that he openly shares from the heart. The collection of 'articles' contained in the book are based on a lifelong journey of seeking and serving the Lord and His People. Archbishop Stefan has deep roots in the Archeparchy of Winnipeg. He was an active member of the local youth and young adult and student movements. Then after completing his seminary formation and Studies in Washington, DC, he returned to Winnipeg to serve as a parish priest in various parishes. He was called to serve God's People as an auxiliary Bishop in Winnipeg and later as the Metropolitan-Archbishop of Philadelphia in the United States. Archbishop Stefan retired in 2018 and moved back to Canada to the Archeparchy of Winnipeg, where he continues to remain involved in the activity he loves - collaborating with the Lord's people through parish work, retreats, etc.

Pick up your copy now for yourself, a family member or a friend. It will be a great gift for yourself and to be shared with others - especially as we find ourselves soon to begin the journey of Lent / the Great Fast. You will want to include this small book with your spiritual and inspirational reading...
